Presidential Citation Award and Significant Achievement Award 2009-10

Our club has been given the Presidential Citation Award for 2009-10. To qualify for a Presidential Citation, a Rotary club must achieve the membership goal and complete an activity from three of the six categories – Polio eradication, Public image, Service, Membership, Vocational service and Leadership.
Our club has been given a Significant Achievement Award for 2009-10 for our project on Collection of waste Household Batteries, To bring about an awareness of hazardous waste batteries and to set up a collection process in motion in the local community.
